This morning, the postal service announced a portal called https://www.kaloka.ch.
Interesting name, Kaloka roughly translates to "…" in Filipino.crazy☐
Is Swiss Post, as a logistics provider and online shop operator, behind this – and perhaps Siroop as well? Or are Swisscom and Swiss Post currently at odds? The fact is: numerous Bernese businesses are now offering their products on a shared shopping platform. Those in a hurry who order by 1 p.m. on weekdays will receive their purchase by 4 p.m., while orders placed by 5 p.m. will be delivered by 8 p.m. Same-day delivery is handled by the environmentally friendly Cargovelo courier service from the startup notime. Those with more time can order their items via the regular postal service or pick up their goods directly from the store. With this new service, Swiss Post is testing a new same-day delivery format in the Bern area and simultaneously providing services along the e-commerce value chain.
